With 29 years of experience in woodworking, cabinet making, studio furniture design, upholstery, and art framing, Melanie is both a highly skilled artisan and a recognized leader in the art framing industry.

Along the way, she has studied with elite woodworkers and furniture makers -- and she even played a round of golf with Sam Maloof. 

Melanie founded Metro Frame Works in 1999 with a vision and aesthetic that remain at its core.  

She's also an avid golfer, a friend of greyhounds, an aspiring jewelry artist, and a proud part of the Ridge at 38 cultural district, Metro's very happy home in Wheat Ridge.
